Faculty Comments: I am proud to nominate Anika Stanley for Student of the Week. I have had the opportunity to coach Anika in golf since she was in 7th grade, and from the beginning she showed incredible focus and drive. She hit the ground running, spending hours on the course each summer to strengthen her game and traveling multiple times a year to work with a swing coach to sharpen her skills even further. Her commitment and dedication have allowed her to grow tremendously, especially in her ability to handle the ups and downs that come with the game of golf, an impressive skill both on and off the course.
In the classroom, Anika shines as a supportive and dependable classmate. She is always willing to help others, patiently walking peers through step-by-step explanations rather than simply giving them an answer. Each year, her dedication and maturity continue to grow, making her stand out not only as an athlete and student, but also as a person of great character.
