It's coming...another Ashgrove Family Event. Join us November 15, between 5:30 and 7:00pm for an evening of picture books with activities and dinner on us. We will be serving up a sub sandwich meal from 5:30-6:00. From 6:00-7:00 you can visit classrooms to enjoy a book and complete an activity (or two or three). Our theme is Social-Emotional Learning. Ashgrove collected a total of 832 paper towel rolls altogether! Great team work everyone! Now for our grade level winners: 3rd Grade collected 113 rolls. The winning class, with 69 rolls total, is Mrs. Pollard’s Class. 2nd Grade collected 417 rolls. The winning class, with 289 rolls total, is Miss Berg’s Class. 1st Grade collected 302 rolls. The winning class, with 233 rolls total, is Mrs. Newberry’s Class. Congratulations! November is toilet paper tubes. Let's see if we can have some new class winners -- the challenge is on.

September STEM Lab Challenge Announcement: Ashgrove collected a total of 11,326 plastic bottle caps altogether! Great team work everyone! Now for our grade level winners: 3rd Grade collected 901 caps. The winning class, with 578 caps total, is Mrs. Pollard’s Class. 2nd Grade collected 4,430 caps. The winning class, with 1,835 caps total, is Miss Opsal’s Class. 1st Grade collected 5,995 caps. The winning class, with 3,027 caps total, is Mrs. Newberry’s Class. Congratulations! Design it! Build It! a Title 1 Sponsored Event for the family will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2022, from 5:30 - 7:00 pm. Join us for a fun-filled evening designing and building structures and your own ice cream sundae. Based on the book "Iggy Peck, Architect" this come and go as you are able to attend event is sure to bring smiles to the entire family! This event is free to the students and families of Ashgrove Elementary.

It is time to register your student for next school year. You can do so by logging in to the PowerSchool parent portal at https://ps.fremont25.org/public Once logged in, select "Forms' along the left side of the screen and complete all the forms under the "General Forms" tab. If you have multiple students, make sure to select each of them (listed at the top of the screen) and fill out their forms. Of special note, please ensure the accuracy of the contacts listed on the Address/Contact Information Update form. If you need additional help, please call the school.
