                                   Superintendent Terry L. Snyder

I personally welcome you to Fremont County School District #25 in Riverton, Wyoming! If you want your student to be served by dedicated, professional, passionate and caring staff members, District #25 is the place for you. Fremont County School District #25's mission is to: "EDUCATE, EMPOWER, INSPIRE." This mission is supported by expectations of staff and students to: "Demonstrate integrity, dedication, motivation, citizenship, work ethic and excellence."

It is our commitment to maximize the academic achievement of all students. The staff has been working collaboratively in professional learning communities to establish agreed upon K-12 standards in all academic areas, instructional units of study, and common formative assessments. Every student can and must succeed!

Fremont County School District #25 is working hard to meet the needs of all students!  Recently the district has implemented new programs to meet the needs of more students.  Three years ago, we opened Frontier Academy, an alternative high school to keep our high-risk students in school and to get students who have dropped out back in school to get their high school diploma. Over 60 students have now graduated from this program.  The district places a high importance on early childhood education.  The Aspen Early Learning Center opened in 2016.  Two programs for kindergarteners are offered.  The traditional kindergarten program is offered along with KinderBoost, a developmentally appropriate kindergarten programming.  A parent partnership program called Learning for Littles along with a traditional preschool program are now available for our young families also.

"The public school is the greatest discovery made by man." Horace Mann.

My personal mission statement is, "Kids are the reason why…" Public education is a great business! I am both proud and blessed to be your superintendent!
